THE RELUCTANT MINSTREL REVUE Launch show for a new collection of poetry by Phil Burdett entitled 'SOMETHING NEW HAS HAPPENED' This is a rare solo performance wherein PB will be reading some of the poems & singing songs old & new at the fabulous new cultural venue The Ironworks in Southend High Street (near the railway bridge) 27th November 2022 Special guests for the evening will be THE TUMBLEDRYER BABIES & TOM BURGESS Both doing full sets Admission £10 & doors open at 6.30 so get there early, get a drink & get comfortable. Songdog is a vehicle for the songs of Lyndon Morgans (from Blackwood in South Wales) with accompaniment from Karl Woodward (guitar/banjo/mandolin), Dave Paterson (drums/accordion), Jasper Salmon (violin) and, latterly, Mal Phillips (bass).
